Visitors to the site can browse job openings, read e-newsletters, participate in online discussion forums, review legislation and policies, read from the QoL Library and investigate many other useful areas of information. With Velocity, MilitaryHOMEFRONT provides visitors with a clean, uncluttered search experience that delivers better and more relevant information. The site uses Vivisimo's powerful search engine to pull content from a wide variety of sources and then present search results organized visually for a faster, more thorough exploration of search results. Now, visitors to the site have several new ways to search and view information including: content-specific search tabs broken out by areas of interest, such as military installation community directories, news feeds, jobs and QoL Web search; keyword matching, which searches and returns tailored information from the QoL glossary based on a simple keyword entry; and cluster navigation, which presents results by topic and by agency.
